On 24–26 February 2026, the 18th Conference ‘Thermal Treatment of Municipal Waste’ is taking place in Kraków — one of the most important events for the waste management and energy sectors in Poland, bringing together representatives of the municipal, energy, and industrial sectors, as well as market experts.
The first day of the conference marked the substantive opening of a three-day debate dedicated to the future of municipal waste thermal treatment facilities in Poland. As part of the First Introductory Panel, ‘TTOMW in the Changing Municipal Waste Management System,’ Adam Pazdur — Contract Manager at Mostostal Zabrze S.A. — delivered a presentation outlining the sector’s experience and development prospects in the context of dynamic market and regulatory changes.
The second day of the event is currently underway, in which we are actively participating. Today, the Fourth Discussion Panel, ‘Development of the TTOMW Sector — New Investments,’ was held, focusing on the sector’s development directions and planned investment projects. During the panel, moderated by Maciej Kiełbus — Managing Partner at ZIEMSKI & PARTNERS Law Firm Kostrzewska, Kołodziejczak and Partners sp. k. — Adam Pazdur, representing Mostostal Zabrze S.A., also spoke, joining other industry experts in a discussion on the challenges and opportunities related to the development of thermal waste treatment facilities.
We would like to thank all participants for visiting our stand, for the inspiring discussions, and for the opportunity to exchange experiences. Participation in the conference represents an important element of the Mostostal Zabrze Group’s active involvement in the development of modern technological solutions and the transformation of the waste management and energy sectors in Poland.
