We warmly encourage you to take part in the 2nd edition of the JBL Run in Katowice! This running event features three distances: a 3 km family walk & run open to everyone, as well as 5 km and 10 km races.

At Mostostal Zabrze Group, there’s no shortage of passionate runners, so we encourage you to join in and spread the word among your friends and family.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to charity and allocated to one of Katowice’s organizations – the “Gniazdo” Foundation for People in Need of Support.

On Sunday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m., participants will set off for the second time from the iconic Spodek arena in Katowice. The race route will pass by some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks, including Spodek, the International Congress Centre, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Silesian Museum, the University of Silesia Library, the Silesian Insurgents’ Monument, and the 1st District.

For over three decades, the “Gniazdo” Foundation for People in Need of Support has been running a Sociotherapy Day Room and a Youth Personal Development Support Club. In both facilities, children, young people, and their families receive support from qualified specialists, participate in developmental, preventive, and therapeutic activities, and nurture their interests and talents. Beneficiaries work on overcoming personal challenges in a safe and friendly environment.
