MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE received main award during the festive ceremony of the Polish brand named „Polish Business Awards 2014” that took place on 17 November in Pirkliu Klubas, Vilnius. The event was organized by the Department of Trade and Investment of the Polish Embassy. The prize was awarded in the category „Commercial transaction of the year”.

The aim of the 3rd edition of the contest „Polish Business Awards 2014” is to reward the companies greatly succeeding in Polish-Lithuanian business cooperation, development of friendly relations and promotion of the Polish brand and companies. There were 28 nominees in six categories.

Mostostal Zabrze was best evaluated in the category „Commercial transaction of the year” on the Lithuanian market.

On behalf of the Management Board of Mostostal Zabrze S.A. the award was collected by the President of the Board Mr. Bogusław Bobrowski. Besides, Mostostal Zabrze was represented by Mr. Piotr Sabiniok, Proxy – Director Strategic Projects and Marketing Office.

The President underlined very good business relations with Lithuanian customers and cooperating partners established to date.
„I would like to emphasize that the Lithuanian market is essential and very prospective for Mostostal Zabrze in terms of new upcoming projects. I am convinced that this distinction shall contribute to promotion of the brand Mostostal Zabrze in Lithuania and to an increase in contracts to be executed by our company for Lithuanian clients” – said Bogusław Bobrowski, President.

The President also mentioned major projects completed on the Lithuanian market withn last several years, including: construction of FORTUM waste incineration plant in Klaipeda – a pioneer investment of this kind in Lithuania and Baltic States where Mostostal Zabrze was subcontracted by STEINMÜLLER Babcock Environment to perform complete erection of the boiler with auxiliary equipment and external piping. Another order comprised comprehensive delivery of the road viaduct steel structure above the motorway in Raseiniai (Vilnius-Klaipeda).
