Mostostal Zabrze received congratulations directly from the General Contractor – POSCO Engineering & Construction CO., LTD for participation in the successful pressure test of the boilers.
It is worth emphasizing that both MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE and one of its subsidiaries, i.e. MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego S.A. are jointly performing numerous tasks within the project, including particularly the following:

• Erection of 2 boilers,
• Supply and erection of steel structure of the main buildings of the ZTPO,
• Execution of reinforced concrete and finishing works.

At present the progress of erection and construction works is 59 % and complies with the assumed schedule. Eco-friendly thermal waste utlilization plant is to be completed by the end of 2015 – the last workers are to leave the construction site at the beginning of November. This is the starting point of full operation of the plant. Several months earlier a trial operation shall commence.

The ZTPO will incinerate 220 000 tons of waste providing 10 % of the city’s annual demand for thermal energy, and additionally it will generate electric energy.
