At the ceremony held on the occasion of completion of BASF Catalysts Plant in Środa Śląska, Mostostal Zabrze was distinguished with the title „Contractor Excellence Award 2015” within the project „Project Quo Vadis. BASF Catalysts Plant, Środa Śląska”.

Mostostal Zabrze was responsible for performance of the process installation for heavy-duty and light-duty catalysts for mobile SCR (Selective catalytic NOx reduction) system. The Company’s scope of work comprised execution of two phases based on the EPC formula, i.e. engineering, delivery, installation and start-up of fully automated process plant including, i.a. , intricate system of piping, tanks, mixers, mills, pumps, exchangers, measuring devices, etc. mainly made of stainless steel.

The contract value along with additional works totalled nearly PLN 186 million.
