On 16 March at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technolgy in Gliwice, a seminar „INNOVATION – innovative technologies of joining and forming materials in industry” was held. It was dedicated to the analysis of possibility of using innovative solutions elaborated by the Silesian University of Technology and Mostostal Zabrze Capital Group (MZ Group).

The meeting was attended by representatives of the companies creating MZ Group and the Welding & Quality Control Center, including designers, specialists within production management, welding technologies, etc. They all presented the core business of MZ Group and prospective scope of cooperation with SUT, which was represented by employees of Welding, Machine Building and Founding Departments. Their scientists presented particular fields of expertise, currently run scientific projects, as well as innovative solutions to be implemented in the industry, and especially to be applied in operations of MZ Group.

The participants of the seminar had a chance to visit the laboratory facilities of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
