A company from the Mostostal Zabrze Group has signed a contract for the construction of a concert hall with the 1st and 2nd Degree of State Music School in Jastrzebie-Zdrój.

MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego S.A. (MZ GPBP) will implement the project entitled “Extension of the building of the 1st and 2nd Degree State Music School in Jastrzębie-Zdrój including the construction of the concert hall, land development as well as delivery and assembly of technical equipment”.

The contract value amounts to PLN 15,250,100 gross. The project implementation is expected to last 480 days.

This modern facility, which will be able to accommodate up to 360 spectators, will consist of three main zones: concert hall (360 seats), foyer/rooms for artists as well as sanitary and technical rooms. The total volume of the extended part will be 15,520.00 m³.

Pursuant to the contract, the company will carry out construction and installation works related to the extension of the building with the concert hall and land development; it will also be responsible for the delivery, assembly and commissioning of the technical equipment associated with stage lighting, sound system and video production system.

The above-mentioned works also include the construction of internal and external infrastructure, i.e. connections, and the reconstruction of the water and sewage system as well as heating, gas, and medium and low voltage networks.

For years MZ GPBP has specialised in carrying out investment projects for the public utility sector, including the construction, extension and modernisation of facilities for primary and higher education institutions. The company is currently implementing projects for the University of Opole and Sports School in Zabrze. In recent years, it has constructed a number of educational facilities for universities such as the Silesian University of Technology, the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Medical University of Silesia.
