September 24, 2019 a topping out ceremony took place at the construction site of the Mother and Child Health Center for the University Hospital of Karol Marcinkowski in Zielona Góra.

The construction stage of the building shell was closed with this symbolic ceremony. Currently, the construction is entering the finishing stage. Completion of works is scheduled for October 2020.

The building consists of four floors above ground and one underground. Small patients will have at their disposal, among others General Paediatrics, Pediatric Surgery and Urology, Pediatric Oncology, Neonatology, Obstetrics with delivery labor and Caesarean section, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care for Children, clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and the recreational and gastronomic section.

This is the end of one of the important stages of the ongoing investment. It was also an opportunity to thank the Marshal of the Lubuskie Province, the Senator of the Republic of Poland, the President of the University Hospital with Employees, to all Entities involved in the implementation of this investment. Together we celebrated the end of this stage.
