Another contract for the construction of an incineration plant in the portfolio of Mostostal Zabrze Group

On May 13, the company of the Mostostal Zabrze Group – MZ GPBP signed with POSCO E&C a subcontracting agreement for design works as well as construction and building works as part of the project for the expansion of the thermal waste treatment installation at the Municipal Solid Waste Disposal Plant in Warsaw.

The contract was concluded as part of the project entitled: “Extension and modernization of Municipal Solid Waste Disposal Plant on the street Zabraniecka 2, in the Targówek district of the capital city of Warsaw ”. The investment is being carried out by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Oczyszczania in the capital city of Warsaw and POSCO E&C is the general contractor of this investment.

The value of works to be carried out by MZGPBP by January 2024 will amount to approximately PLN 400 million.

This is another contract implemented in cooperation with this Client. The MZ Group has successfully cooperated with POSCO E&C in the implementation of an incineration plant in Krakow (reinforced concrete and finishing works, delivery and assembly of the steel structure of the facility and assembly of boilers, piping and accompanying devices) – so far the largest in the country. For several years, the Group has also been successfully cooperating with other Korean companies implementing large industrial projects in Poland.

In addition, over the last 20 years, the Group has successfully completed over 25 incinerator projects in the field of construction, mechanical and design. All this was possible thanks to the dynamic cooperation of several companies within one Group.
