Tomorrow, the official opening of the Geopark located in the Grzybowice district of Zabrze will take place.

MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE GPBP S.A. transformed the former clay pit in Grzybowice in Zabrze into a recreational and educational space. In the reclaimed area around water reservoirs, pedestrian and bicycle paths with lighting were created, and the local greenery was tidied up and enriched with new vegetation. Water reservoirs located in the southern part of the site have been cleaned and wooden platforms have been built next to them. Small architecture objects were installed, i.e. benches and recreational shelters. There is also grassy beach equipped with deckchairs.
